Alyssa is different. If you read her posts then you realize that the girl is all real and honest in her posts. She was a complete country girl until she was 12. Her dad made her do everything.
They used to wake up at 4-5 A.M. and then all the cleaning and moving with different animals like cows, sheep, pigs and many more. Alyssa said that she hated those days but now she realizes all that hard work has made her a different person.

She has become better as an athlete because of those days and those hardships at her farm. Also, Alyssa was always interested in athletics or sports since her pre-teenage days.

Lately, she started investing her time into weightlifting. She also got into gymnastics in no time. She shares
“Honestly, I’m never going to look like that. That’s not me. That’s not who I am. So, I want to be my thickness. I want to be big quads, big thighs, everything.”
She was also doing climbs, box jumps, toes-to-bar, running backward, running forward, running sideways. She was also doing snatches, clean and jerks, deadlifts, all this strength and power stuff for track and field. Within two years, she made it to the States totally undefeated. She was the smallest girl there but even then she excelled in everything.
One of the elite American Weightlifters she had a quick transition. She transitioned from a CrossFit regional competitor and GRID athlete to full-time weight lifter. Ritchey is one of the nation’s top 48 Kg lifters.
She claims that her coach keeps her on the track and is really strict with her.
She says that her training schedule is
“I train 5 days a week and rest 2 days. I do single sessions that last about 1.5-2.5 hours before or after I work. I squat 5 days a week because we have to keep the bitty legs strong! I perform the snatch and clean & jerk 4 days a week and I always have some type of accessory work.
I do 2-3 cardio workouts a week to keep my weight down instead of cutting out food. Plus I love the feeling of an intense workout. It feels good to get my heart rate up”.
Talking about her goals, the lady shares
“My number goals in 6 months would be 105kg clean & jerk & 83kg snatch as a 48kg weightlifter. Long term goal in weightlifting would be at the Olympics competing for my country. My number goals in a year or beyond would be 110kg & 85-87kg as a 48kg weightlifter”.
