Doctor Anosh Ahmed is doing incredible things for his community with the Anosh Inc. Foundation. In this interview, Dr. Ahmed discusses Anosh Inc. Foundation. He shares a bit about his background, the foundation’s missions and visions, charity and event partnerships, and the future of Anosh Inc.
Before we get started Dr. Ahmed, can you tell us who you are?
I’m Doctor Anosh Ahmed, a lifelong learner, entrepreneur, and internal medicine physician. I’m also the Chief Executive Officer and visionary behind the Anosh Inc. Foundation.
Great, and what is the Anosh Inc. Foundation?
The Anosh Inc. Foundation is a nonprofit organization that supports the local Houston community through various projects to help vulnerable children and adults access safe housing, medical care, and education.
Through various efforts, my team and I fight against medical inequality, lack of education, and poverty. We’re on a mission to develop strategies that help break the cycle of poverty.
What inspires you to give back?
The Anosh Inc. Foundation is one of my most significant ventures because giving back to my community is so important to me. Due to my own humble upbringing, I’m committed to helping those in need.
My life experiences have led me down a path to support and encourage disadvantaged youth to achieve their potential, just as I have. To do this, we need to reduce the effects of poverty and lack of resources.
I believe that when we care for people, we make the world better.
What are some projects you’ve worked on with Anosh Inc. Foundation?
We’ve provided everything from care kits to food, and school supplies for those in need. We also work towards creating new services, jobs, and opportunities in our community by partnering with medical schools, hospitals, and clinics.
I also offer scholarships and mentorships and pay for my team to take classes to improve themselves and help others along the way.
The Anosh Inc. Foundation also spends time on local charities and events to support underserved members of the community.
What are some charities and events Anosh Inc. has sponsored or worked with?
We’ve worked with many charities that support underprivileged people. We also enjoy participating in local events that also do this.
Last year, we donated to the Memorial Day Flowers Foundation, a wonderful organization that gathers volunteers to hand out flowers to place at Veteran gravesites. We also visited the Houston National Cemetery to participate in the tribute.
A couple of other charities and events we’ve sponsored are a local blood drive, the St. Jude Run/Walk, and a Thanksgiving Day turkey giveaway we did with Mayor Sylvester Turner.
We’ve also sponsored and joined various community outreach events, where we offer medical screenings, counseling, and health and wellness guidance. We’ve also done a back-to-school giveaway and a haircare day for those in need.
Other organizations the Anosh Inc. Foundation donates to are Catholic Charities, Developments in Literacy, Islam by Touch, and Islamic Services for the Deaf & Hard of Hearing.
Dr. Ahmed, what do you hope to see for the future of the Anosh Inc. Foundation?
With the Anosh Inc. Foundation, I want to continue elevating those in poverty and end medical inequality in my community.
I also want to expand our charitable outreach efforts worldwide to include as many communities as possible. I envision a future where all children have opportunities to succeed.
