Female Bodybuilder, Lucy Scroggs Overcome from Bad Relationship

Lucy Scroggs started bodybuilding when she was 40 years old. She entered into this sports because she wanted to take a break and start a new life in her life after a troubled relationship.

And you won’t believe but the lady after 3 years old, is all set to compete for the NABBA (National Amateur Body Builders Association) – British title. This is also after a year of winning the UK equivalent.

Lucy has crossed her fingers to compete in the NABBA universe competition later this year. Lucy was always fascinated and interested to be a sports person after the motivation and push by her fellow gym members.

The lady recalls

“I have done a lot of sport in my life be it either working in the gym, boxing, half marathons or skiing.

“When the idea of bodybuilding was first suggested the idea of going up on a stage in a bikini top was very scary.

“You are putting yourself out there to be judged and I would suggest that only a small percentage of the population would feel comfortable showcasing themselves in this way.”

She combines her training and competition as a bodybuilder with her work as an operational director at a facilities management company.

This girl though @lp_muscle seriously! I am getting myself through life right now until the finish line, which is so so close I can smell the Almond Butter gainz already! (Joke @luke_nichols 😬) . She turned up, grabbed me and transported me between training sessions. Made me laugh, took ridiculous selfies of us, baked to die for cookies (because we do those stupid things in prep! It’s how we met!) Let me sleep when I needed to and made me endless cups of ginger green tea! . What more do I need in life right now? Other than FOOOOD, nothing, I got it all 🔥🙅🏻‍♀️🙅🏻‍♀️🔥 #becausewecan . #twins #swolesisters #femalephysique #trainedfigure #girlswithmuscle #girlswithguns #muscles #shredded #offseason #femalebodybuilding #womensupportingwomen #womenwholift #womenempowerment #femaleinspiration #gym #instagym #instafit #instafitness #fbb #strongnotskinny #strongissexy #love #laughter #girls #keepitcorpus ☠️ #thisisus 🙋🏻‍♀️ #noapologies #becausewecan 🙅🏻‍♀️🙅🏻‍♀️

“I decided I would adopt a much more positive and ‘can-do’ attitude and once my bodybuilding took off I began to have an increased presence on social media.

It was at this point I got messages from people saying I was inspiring them – I didn’t set out to do that but to know that I am helping people feel better about themselves is very good.”
