A human body is one of the most complex systems that has been designed in Mother Nature. It is not merely about a structure made up of bones, muscles, tissues, and organs. A human body is designed to do multiple different functions and the physical body parts are only able to function when they are facilitated by certain chemical reactions.

There are a number of chemical bodies such as enzymes and hormones that are produced in a human body to facilitate various body functions and your physiological body parts are largely dependent on these chemical bodies. One of the most important hormones in the human body is testosterone. Although it may be produced in both male and female bodies, testosterone is primarily a male sex hormone that not only facilitates reproductive functions but also plays a role in other sexual functions such as body hair, muscle, and bone mass growth. While this hormone is produced naturally by the human body, it can also be found in testosterone rich foods.

Besides being a naturally produced hormone in the human body, there is also an anabolic steroid that goes by the name of testosterone. The drug takes its name from the hormone as it is meant to facilitate relevant body functions and make up for the shortfalls of the natural testosterone levels in the human body.

As an anabolic steroid, it is a C class drug that can only be sold on prescription. It is used for various medical reasons such as backing up for low testosterone in old age and even treatment of breast cancer among women. `Besides medical reasons, this drug is also known to be used by athletes and bodybuilders for stamina building, muscle recovery, and even performance enhancers.
