BREAKING : 35 Year old Bodybuilder’s death raises suspicion

35-year-old Ghent Wakefield was found dead at his England home. He is a WWE performer who had a bicep injury some years back.

Wakefield some time back filed a complaint against Britain’s National Health Service alleging that his injuries might have hailed a long time back with proper treatment. Medical experts have not stated the definite reason for his death. But it is believed that hormone insulin has played a major role in this. The bodybuilder is believed to be using steroids to rebuild his muscles after the accident. And this is considered to be extremely dangerous.

“We don’t have a cause of death,” North Staffordshire coroner Ian Smith said in the inquiry, according to theSun. “I can’t say it was drugs or natural causes—it would be wrong to pick one. I think the strongest possibility is the abuse of insulin, but we will never know for sure.”

Similarly, there was another death case back in August last year. A bodybuilder collapsed while getting a haircut. This was also believed to be a case of insulin. Of course, we will never be able to know the exact cause of death but time and again it is believed that insulin has a major role to play in the field of bodybuilding. And this has led to disastrous results.

Insulin is actually a hormone which is known to regulate blood sugar levels. It is closely associated with type 1 diabetes which is further known to build muscles in your body. This is the reason why the majority of bodybuilders use this.

“Insulin is widely used for its anabolic properties that, like steroids, aid in muscle growth,” Dr. Harrison Pope, M.D., a psychiatry professor at Harvard Medical School who’s conducted extensive research on substance abuse amongst bodybuilders, told after Piana’s death. “Furthermore, it is undetectable in testing because insulin is already present in the body.”
