Every year patients from over the world come to Israel for medical purposes. More than 30,000 patients chose Israeli hospitals annually.
The country ranks 1st in the quality of medical services according to the International Health Research Center (IHRC) rating. This organization evaluates equipment quality, the availability of new technologies and the level of service.
The country has private and public clinics. The level of medicine is the same, they differ only in terms of accommodation and the service provided.
Israeli doctors undergo thorough medical training. A doctor is trained for 13-15 years depending on the specialty. The training program necessarily includes internships in the US and European hospitals. After this, a doctor gets a license and can start his practice.
